How NammaGuide researches and maintains guides

NammaGuide publishes independent, plain-language explanations of civic and government processes. Our goal is to help a reader understand the next step, prepare a useful checklist, avoid common mistakes, and reach the correct official service—not to replace the responsible authority or a qualified professional.

Who is responsible

Founder Manoj Mukherjee researches, edits, and reviews NammaGuide articles. NammaGuide does not present him as a lawyer, chartered accountant, government officer, or authorised representative. High-value, disputed, legal, tax, election-law, or deadline-sensitive matters should be checked with the relevant authority or qualified professional.

How a guide is prepared

1. Identify the specific citizen question and the authority responsible for it.
2. Check official portals, notices, forms, FAQs, or department publications available at the time of review.
3. Separate confirmed requirements from practical preparation tips and clearly state important limits.
4. Link readers to official resources so they can confirm current eligibility, fees, documents, dates, and status.
5. Record a publication date and add an updated date when a material review changes the guide.

Publication standard

A guide should answer its stated question with enough original explanation to stand on its own. Incomplete notes and short drafts are kept out of search results and the public guide catalogue until they are expanded and reviewed. We do not publish copied portal text merely to increase page count.

Sources and changing information

Official sources are preferred. Government portals, rules, schedules, forms, fees, and office practices can change without notice, so every guide asks readers to confirm the latest position on the linked official portal. A link does not imply government endorsement of NammaGuide.

AI use

Software and AI may help organise research or improve clarity, but published factual claims remain the responsibility of the named reviewer. AI output is not treated as an official source. Our interactive assistants are separate experimental tools and carry their own verification warning.

Corrections

If you find an incorrect date, broken official link, unclear instruction, or material omission, send the page URL and the issue through the Contact page. We review credible corrections against available primary sources and update the article when warranted. Material updates receive a revised date.

Commercial independence

Advertising, partnerships, enquiries, or optional paid assistance do not determine the conclusions of a guide. Advertising is kept separate from editorial text, and no payment can purchase government approval, faster processing, influence, or a guaranteed outcome.
