Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 12, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Namma Guide and any educational guidance, checklist preparation, portal-awareness support, document-readiness support, communication templates, or assisted civic support provided through this website, WhatsApp, phone, email, or any other channel.

1. Independent advisory platform

Namma Guide is an independent civic advisory and education platform. We are not a government department, government-authorised service centre, legal firm, law office, chartered accountant, broker, real estate agent, or official representative of BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB, UIDAI, Passport Seva, Seva Sindhu, DigiLocker, Income Tax Department, or any public authority.

2. Educational scope only

Our support is limited to practical education, process awareness, document checklist preparation, portal navigation guidance, status-understanding support, and communication structuring. We do not file official applications as a government authority, decide eligibility, influence officers, provide legal opinions, draft legal pleadings, certify documents, or represent you before any authority unless separately and lawfully agreed through an appropriate professional.

3. No approval or timeline guarantee

Government approvals, rejections, document acceptance, portal uptime, fees, timelines, inspections, notices, and final decisions are controlled only by the relevant authority. We do not guarantee approval, faster processing, a particular outcome, error-free portal performance, or acceptance of any document.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for checking official portals, verifying current rules, confirming fees directly with the authority, reviewing all information before submission, and ensuring that documents and statements provided by you are accurate, lawful, current, and owned or authorised by you. Do not share documents or personal data belonging to another person unless you have lawful authority to do so.

5. Payments and service charges

Paid support charges are for our time, review, explanation, checklist preparation, and communication support. They are not government fees, legal fees, brokerage fees, bribes, facilitation payments, approval fees, or payments to any public servant. Any official fee must be paid only through authorised government channels.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If a paid task has already started, been substantially delivered, or required time-sensitive review, refunds may be limited as described in that policy. Duplicate payments or clearly failed transactions will be reviewed and reversed where applicable.

7. Prohibited use

You must not use Namma Guide to submit false documents, impersonate another person, bypass official rules, seek illegal favours, offer or request bribes, upload malicious files, infringe third-party rights, harass anyone, or share unlawful, misleading, obscene, defamatory, private, or unauthorised information.

8. User data and DPDP duties

When sharing personal data or documents, you must provide accurate and authentic information, avoid impersonation, avoid suppressing material facts, avoid false or frivolous grievances, and avoid sharing data belonging to another person unless you have lawful authority. You agree that Namma Guide may process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy for the requested support, service records, payment handling, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and grievance handling.

9. Documents and originals

We do not require original documents in the first message. If document review is needed, send only copies or screenshots that are necessary for the specific issue. You remain responsible for masking highly sensitive data where possible and for keeping originals safe. We do not provide document custody, notarisation, certification, or authenticity guarantees.

10. Third-party portals and links

We may link to official and third-party portals for convenience. We do not control their content, security, uptime, fee displays, login systems, payment gateways, application status, or decisions. Always confirm important information directly on the relevant official portal.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Namma Guide and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or loss-of-opportunity damages, including delays, rejections, lost documents, portal failures, official decisions, missed deadlines, or user-submitted errors. Our total liability for any paid service is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific disputed service, unless a higher liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to protect and indemnify Namma Guide and its operator against claims, losses, penalties, costs, or expenses arising from false information, unauthorised document sharing, unlawful use of our services, violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any authority or third party.

13. Grievances and takedown requests

For service complaints, privacy requests, content correction, or takedown requests, contact us through the Contact page or WhatsApp link on this website. Include your name, contact details, issue summary, relevant transaction or conversation reference, and the relief requested. We aim to review genuine complaints within a reasonable time.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when our services, law, or operating practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website or services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection rights and mandatory legal forums, disputes will be subject to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
